MVLWB Working Groups

Section 106 of the Mackenzie Valley Resource Management Act states
"The MVLWB may issue directions on general policy matters or on matters concerning the use of land or waters or the deposit of waste that, in the Board’s opinion, require consistent applications throughout the Mackenzie Valley.”

In recognition of this responsibility, the Board formed in January 2008 a number of Staff Working Groups, with members from each Board, tasked with developing consistent and transparent approaches to applications throughout the Mackenzie Valley.     Click here to learn more.
